We are a community of runners who have a passion for health, fitness, our community and well, running!
With over 100 members and growing we offer formal training, organised races, charity runs and the obligatory social occasions.
We offer coached track training sessions as well as weekly training runs throughout Newry and Mourne.

Newry City Runners Registration Evening
We are currently taking registrations for the 25/26 membership year which runs from April 1st 2025 until March 31st 2026.
The fee remains at £40 for the year which includes a new running vest, tee shirt, Athletics NI membership, and a whole host of discounts in sport shops and other retailers throughout the year. We have experienced coaches and leaders always willing to give advice and instruction and can assist with training plans for all distances. As an incentive to get signed up on time and to get current members renewed, we’re offering free track sessions for fully paid up members through the month of April.
For those of you interested in joining, we’re having a registration evening on Wednesday March 26th from 7pm to 8pm in The Quays, Newry. It’ll be a chance to meet the committee and discover all the benefits of joining a running club.
